Canon 24-70mm 2.8 : This lens arrived on Monday Feb 25. This is one of those go-to lenses for sports shooting that you just need to have on a 1D camera. The shots are tight, Crisp and oh so beautiful when captured the right way!

Sigma 150mm f/2.8 APO DG Macro : Unfortunatly this is one of those lenses that we purchased but really didn't take much advantage of using it.

For the most part I got it for Tammy to do macro photography but it sat in the bag most of the time.

So it was sold and put it towards the purchase of our 24-70mm f/2.8.

Canon 400mm f/2.8 MK II : This is finally a lens I own. And I can tell you it was worth paying the extra $800 over the original MK I that I got and had to return because of front focusing.

I have worked very hard to own any version of this lens as plenty of times it was just outside my grasp.

Well now it's finally in my grimy little hands and I am happy as a little boy on Christmas day.

So I will be taking this to plenty of the Lacrosse games that I will be covering over the next month or so. So check out the stuff that will be forth coming on here.

Sigma 120-300mm 2.8 : The time spent while I owned this lens was one of struggle and frustration. Initially when purchased it worked marginally fine. Over time I came to find out that the motor inside was bad and had to be replaced.

When the motor was replaced this lens held its own up against most of the Canon Primes that were produced.

But in the end we traded it away for several other pieces of canon equipment that suited our purposes better.

Sigma 30mm 1.4 : Almost every photo in these galleries that were of other lenses that we own or have owned were taken with this lens attached to the camera.

The funny thing about this lens it is that it's a Sigma. What this means unfortunately is the fact that you never know if you will get a good copy or a bad one.

As any photographer will tell you that includes straight from the manufacture.

It was a difficult decision to really get one of these because of the failure rate.

But we got extremely lucky as this one is razor sharp!

Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 : This beautiful piece of equipment was added into our lens arsenal on Jan 21, 2008. It was traded for one of our 1D MK II camera bodies and $500 cash. So new photos with this will be added daily and you can pretty much figure that either this lens or our 200mm 1.8 lens will be on one or both of the camera bodies we own.

Canon 135mm f/2 : This is a lens like the 200mm 1.8 that gets you such wonderful backgrounds when you use it. I had to get rid of it to fund my 24-70mm f/2.8 purchase. I will obtain another one this summer as the bokeh it produces is just as gorgeous as the 200mm f/1.8 lens.

Canon 70-200mm f4 IS : While this lens was only in our possession for about 2 weeks it took these stunning photos. We just needed the speed of an f/2.8 lens so it was traded away for other equipment. I felt that it was a worthwhile trade to acquire other stuff.

Canon 85mm f/1.8 : We have gone through alot of lenses since making the first purchase of one over 3 years ago.

This was our second and most fun lens we ever had. Currently we don't have a copy of it as it had to be sold in order to get some other equipment when we were poor.

Very likely another will be acquired even though the intention is to get the 85mm f/1.2 lens instead. But then again that lens costs almost $1500 while this one is just $300.

The Canon 200mm f/1.8 lens! : This lens was pretty much welded to my 1D MK II camera body when I had it. The majority of sports photos from 2008 were taken using this lens.

Unfortunately on Feb. 14th 2009 this lens was sold and is now in the hands of another photographer. At a time where the used camera market has dramatically tilted towards the buyer gaining huge discounts on all camera equipment I was able to get top dollar for it and put the funds towards a lot of other needed equipment.

With the latest batch of shooting that I will be doing this summer. Along with the fact that my Apple Stock is going to at least double by the time I want to cash it in. I will probably purchase this lens again in the summer time so I can have it in my arsenal again for the fall and winter shooting I will be doing.

Tokina 12-24mm f/4 Pro DX : This lens was added to our arsenal about a week before Christmas of 2008 and wasn't in our possession all that long because it was replaced by the 16-35mm f/2.8 MK II from Canon.

While this lens is intended to be used on Canon's 1.6 crop body cameras, I have used it on both the 1D MK II and MK III camera bodies and gotten some very nice results.

The shot of the Xcel energy center was when it was mounted on the MK II camera.

Canon 16-35mm f/2.8 MK II : This lens just graced my grimy little hands about a week ago. All I have to say is "HOLY @$%&" It's pretty freakin sharp!

Both of the first two samples that have been put in this gallery have had no post processing done to them at all.

Do a 2X blowup of each of the shots and you will be amazed at the sharpness of this lens!

Lensbaby Composer : The Lensbaby line of lenses can be summarized as an "Artistic" style of lens.

The reason being is either it works or it doesn't.

When you get it right they are stunning.

When you don't, they look as if you never picked up a camera in your life.

I went out today and tested it on the Janesville Medal of Honor Veterans Walkway.

I am still playing around with it but here are a couple of the results I got along with some altering done in Photoshop.
